Representing Panama is Ricardo Aguilar Navarro’s “Salsipuedes”, where a young boy returns to Panama after years in the US, and reconnects with his imprisoned ex-boxer father to understand his past.

From Brazil comes “Malu”, directed by Pedro Freire. “Malu” follows a 50-year-old ex-actress as she juggles difficult relationships with her mother and her own daughter while reliving memories of her past.

Argentina’s “Goyo”, directed by Marcus Carnevale, tells the story of a young autistic museum guide whose structured routine is upended when he falls in love with a co-worker and must confront new emotions.

Representing Chile “El Edificio de los Chilenos”, directed by Macrena Aguilo & Susana Foxley , it tells the story towards the end of the seventies, the militants of MIR exiled in Europe, decided to return to Chile in order to support the fight against the military dictatorship. The ones who could would help through legal means, others through clandestinely. Many had children and couldn't' t return with them. So the idea of a community center to shelter these children was born. Project Home gathered 60 kids that were left to the care of 20 people who assumed the responsibility of their upbringing for the years to come.
